About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Accountant with high-growth, start-up experience and a solid understanding of GAAP rules. The Accountant will be responsible for owning all aspects of international subsidiary reporting, equity operations and various month-end close areas. This role will report to the Accounting Manager.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Assist in various areas of the month-end close process with a main focus on, but not limited to: International subsidiary reporting, Intercompany transactions, debt and equity.
- Work closely with HR and payroll in the end-to-end process and administration of equity transactions: granting stock options, option pool budgeting, exercises, secondary processing, etc.
- Support external reporting and compliance documentation for investors and lenders on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Partner with FP&A, payroll, HR, law firms, international outsourced accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting for international subsidiaries.
- Drive new accounting processes for new international subsidiaries as the Company continues to expand internationally.
- Play a key role in the financial audit process by preparing and reviewing disclosures for external auditors with audits, preparing PBC items and financial statements with notes.
What makes you a good fit:
- Passion for being involved in changing processes and applying automation in a complex environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress towards CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a tech or SaaS environment or Big 4 experience.
- Strong understanding of ASC 718.
- Experience with Netsuite and Carta is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to changing environments.
- Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and present findings to senior management.

Compensation: At Skydio, our compensation packages for regular, full-time employees include competitive base salaries, equity in the form of stock options, and comprehensive benefits packages. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. Relocation assistance may also be provided for eligible roles. The annual base salary range for this position is $103,500-$129,000*.
