Job Description:

At Blueflame AI for Datasite, you will be part of a dynamic team that is at the forefront of AI technology in the investment management and dealmaking industry. The Director of Product Delivery is a hands-on, execution-focused product leader who ensures strong product ownership and delivery quality across all features and initiatives, turning company strategy and product vision consistent, high-impact execution.

This is a player-coach role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, start-up style environment, leads from the front and isn't afraid to dive into details to ensure work gets done well and on-time.


This position is based in our New York City office and follows a hybrid model (3 days on-site per week).


What You’ll Do
Product Delivery Leadership

  • Own the product operating model, including roadmap planning, sprint/release cadence, PRD standards, and launch readiness

  • Partner closely with the Product Strategy team to translate product vision and market direction into clear, prioritized, and deliverable roadmaps

  • Ensure strategic initiatives are broken down into well-scoped, owned, and sequenced product work across Product Managers and Engineering teams

  • Ensure every initiative has a clearly accountable Product Manager, defined success metrics, and a delivery plan

  • Drive consistency and quality in how work is scoped, built, tested, documented, and released

Team Leadership

  • Lead a high performing (small) team with a strong emphasis on coaching, accountability and execution.

  • Set clear expectations around ownership, communication, and pace.

  • Lead by example through your own direct product ownership.

Direct Product Ownership

  • Personally own one or more core product areas or major initiatives end to end.

  • Drive discovery, delivery, launch and iteration.

  • Lead complex or high-impact initiatives such as platform capabilities, workflow improvements or enterprise integrations.

  • Work directly with customers, Sales, and Customer Success to validate problems, test solutions and incorporate feedback quickly.

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Act as a day-to-day execution partner to Engineering, Design, QA, Sales, and Customer Success.

  • Resolve prioritization conflicts, manage dependencies, and remove delivery blockers.

  • Keep teams aligned and moving

  • Represent Product in customer, partner, and internal discussions related to delivery and timelines.

What We’re Looking For
Experience

  • 8+ years of Product Management experience, with 3+ years managing a team

  • Demonstrated success in player-coach roles with meaningful personal product ownership

  • Strong preference for experience in startups or scaleups, where speed, ambiguity, and hands-on work are the norm

  • Background in B2B SaaS or enterprise software

  • Experience with AI-powered, data-intensive, or workflow-driven products is a plus

The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position based on a good faith assessment of the role and market data at the time of posting. Consistent with applicable law, each candidate’s compensation offer may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, your geographic region, skills, qualifications, and experience along with the requirements of the position. This position may be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or overtime if applicable. Benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), a retirement savings plan, paid time off, and other employee benefits. Specific details will be provided during the interview process. Datasite reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.

$170,000.00 - $297,200.00
